Polyart Continuous Filament Polyester

POLYART is a sewing thread produced from high-tenacity filament Polyester and developed for use in a wide range of products. As it is a filament thread, it is ideally suited to the most demanding stitching. It has a good resistance to abrasion, ultra-violet light and to the acids which are not very strong. The special lubricant applied to the thread during manufacturing reduces the effects of needle heat and abrasion thus providing excellent sewing performance by allowing sewing at low tension in even the most difficult operations. For particular end uses, specially treated versions such as flame retardant and water repellent are also available.
